Convent of Mercy Roscommon CEIST Bake-Off 2017
This week in our school the Junior and Senior CEIST Bake-Off winners will be chosen. The interest in this annual competition has increased hugely year on year with the largest ever number of students entering the competition especially in the junior category. This national event is sponsored by Odlums and is a great opportunity for all CEIST schools to forge links with one another and strengthen community ties. The senior category bake-off is centred on the theme of “Mother Nature” where students can choose to depict their interpretation of this theme as creatively as possible. At junior level there are no restrictions of a theme and the girls are free to depict any idea they wish. Students must design, bake and decorate their novelty cake with this theme in mind. The chosen winners of the school’s bake-off final will represent our school at the next stage of the competition. Well done to all involved and a special thank you to Ms. Cleary (Home Economics Teacher) for co-ordinating this event in our school and to Mr. Declan Molloy and Mrs. Alison Crean who have the unenviable task of choosing the winners. Best of luck to all involved.
